3/29/2005: More bad news for Scott Peterson
Johnnie Cochran, the flamboyant lawyer who got OJ off, is dead of a brain tumor. He was 67.
I don't know this for sure, but I suspect Peterson may have been thinking of hiring Cochran to appeal his death sentence - there aren't many other ways he'll be able to get that reversed..
Cochran has had tv ads here lately: cheesy "have you been injured?" ads, like a new attorney fresh out of law school might have. I guess he went through all those fees OJ paid him.
